Hello!
I am Chris Hodges!
My wife, Liz , and I have been married for 38 years and have been proud residents of Broadlands for more than 17 years. We have three children (two of which attended Loudoun County Public Schools) and four grandchildren.
Growing up in Baldwin, Long Island, I was an all-county football player and went on to pursue higher education at the US Naval Academy (Class of 1985). I served in the Navy, owned my own financial planning business, managed many people in the financial field and have years of experience in bureaucratic organizations. Currently I am a successful Certified Financial Planner® who values the profound impact of a strong merit-based education on achieving positive life outcomes.

Accountability
I will be accountable to you, the parents and tax-payers. I will disrupt the group-think existing on the board and always put our child’s education and well-being first. I will support our great teachers and wisely allocate your tax dollars.

Accessibility
I will be the school board representative that quickly responds to your needs, helping you navigate any school related issue.

Transparency
The only way to rebuild LCPS into the superior educational institution of years past, is to begin with restoring the trust between the board and the parents and teachers. The only way to begin is with transparency.
